Welcome to Our Wedding Story!

We are Charlotte and Mark, the bride and groom to be!

We will be getting married on the beautiful Fraser Island, Australia, on the beach, in August 2010 and will be spending our honeymoon in New Zealand. We would like to share our story, and the details of our special day and honeymoon.

Our Story

Charlotte and Mark first met in a gym – Charlotte had reluctantly joined with a friend and signed up for an induction with Mark. The attraction was mutual, and Charlotte agreed to a personal trainer program. After a few weeks of the most physically exhausting flirting Charlotte had ever endured, Mark finally asked her out. The rest is history – as was Charlotte’s gym membership!

After just over three happy years together, Mark and Charlotte decided to visit New York for their anniversary. In Central Park, Mark surprised Charlotte with a horse-drawn carriage ride - and his proposal! Once back home, Charlotte was surprised again with a wonderful secret engagement party organised by her parents.

Now came the difficult decision – where to tie the knot? A destination wedding had always been Charlotte and Mark’s dream, and after a long discussion, they decided on the romantic Fraser Island in Autsralia. This had been the couple’s dream holiday destination since they met, and planned a week of pampering for the wedding and then a short hop to New Zealand for the honeymoon.
